Its all over

well,i haven't been updating in a while,but the past few days have been rather interesting.so i shall have a few posts to talk about this week,the last week of hols for the sec 4s.

Tuesday 30/6/09

on tuesday,our class (12 of us),went down to support melissa at Bishan stadium.met a few other cedarians there,mainly the jumpers and sec 2s.teachers we met there included ms wong,mr joesph tan,ms yang,mr chan chee kiang,ms poon,mr ricky tan,mr seem(field coach) and mr james wong(cath high teacher-coach).there were quite a lot of events that day.boys pole vault-sean lim represented s'pore,high jump & long jump-represented by melissa,girls 100m heats-represented by liang wei,boys 100m heats-represented by sharir,girls 400m heats-represented by clara,boys 400m heats-represented by jared,boys 1500m heats-represented by zachary.it was sad that mel had to drop her pet event to compete in long jump cause there were just too many competitors for high jump(12) whereas she stood a better chance against the other 3 competitors for long jump.the jumpers even had to shout to mel for her to 'sprint through' cause she slowed down towards the end of the run-up.it was even more frustrating that they did allow mr seem down to the field cause he wasn't an official coach-.-so in the end,he had to sit in the stand with us and call the s'pore coach to convey the msg to mel.what crap rite?so after we were done,crystal and i went for chem tuition.we were late:)called alex to tell him we won't be so early and his reply was,so you're gonna be late lar.so irritataing rite?so yar,spent my afternoon cheering for mel and the other athletes at Bishan.zel's eye caught this jap 100m sprinter,who in the end ran super fast.his timing was 10.89!!!but for liang wei it was super unfair.all i can say is the planning for ayg was quite screwed up,hopefully it'll be better for yog next year...anyway,we're all so proud of mel!!!but now that she's done,all she has been doing is to go down and support the rest and play at swissotel...
